Is this on KLV-airedale?
I notice @rockedge is going the opposite direction and toying with KLV and jwm. Kinda cool if you can run KLV with JWM, Xfce, or KDE.

No, this is my pure KDE Plasma.
But I have an idea to play with KLV-airedale
On a clean setup

@geo_c When we first started with FirstRib into the WeeDog stage the first distro's made were based on JWM + Rox. Later I found XFCE4 was also ideal for the project. The KLV-Boxer I made before Airedale in the form of WDL-Void. But for now Boxer is a side project in hibernation.

At this point using Xfce on KLV, I'm not sure why I would want JWM, because ram wise KLV is coming in about as low as fossapup. I think Xfce rides the fence of visual appeal and resource usage very well. I had looked at some KDE applications, and that desktop environment seems a bit over-the-top. It seems to be built for the eye-candy enthusiasts.
There are some key differences between JWM and Xfce I suppose, like the fact that JWM is actually a little more customizable in the tray/menu department, being that Xfce seems to use the GTK colors in the menu and tray, and also in some of the window decoration themes. Whereas JWM allows the windows, trays, and menus to be completely independent from GTK. Xfce has much nicer looking pop-up menus and tootips however, and is just generally more luxurious in its look and feel.

I've found that while the KDEnvrionment is a bit much, some of the included apps work quite well. Are there any projects that package KDE apps in a less intensive envrionment?

Might have to check that out by making one.

Rather liked the dog. Thought I'd give it more exposure. Here it seems to be asking, "Do you really expect me to get my paws wet chasing a ball?"
My usual GUI: Hide-able 2nd panel on the left edge, pwidgets, replaced trash-can icon with something complimentary to the wallpaper. The icon theme is Sofiya's Aroma_coffee.
As it actually is 37 degrees fahrenheit outside, the vision of a warm, sunny, tropical island makes starting the day a little less intimidating.
