May you try Triton8.0 based on jummypup32 with build in Firefox v108.0.1
I use Firefox. I have others installed but I'm a creature of habit. I've gotten use to how things work, look and feel for what I do. As long as I keep the cache in check, it's all good.
Oddly enough, I can't stand using it on my work pc which is windows, I use opera. My home pc and work are identical machines but under windows, Firefox just
seems like it's an elephant sitting on top the system.
We have to run UPS shipping software on 2012 HP PRO which is a bloated mess so I try to keep the strain to a minimum.
The same pc is a beast running linux. Compared to Win 10
Well, I found its source code in this GitHub repo, in case you want to build it (don't know if building it will work on 32-bit platforms).
I am afraid, for the second question, I have no answer.

I think it's 64-bit only.
I use both Opera and Firefox. I've been with FF for quite a few years because back then I thought it was better than Opera which I had been using
for many years. About 6 months ago, I tried Opera, and really am now preferring it to FF.
I use vivaldi, portable versions on my FP64 and JammyPup32. I like to sync feature.
Hi all
I am using the default browser in FossaPup64-95 which is Palemoon.
The build is 31.3.1 (64bit).
The browser does fluctuate with RAM jumping between 800mb and over 1gb depending on the website I am browsing on.
**EDIT**
Just updated to the latest build 32.0.0 (64bit) - 24 January 2023
Informed the Palefill Web Technologies Polyfill Add-on v1.25 is incompatible ............. that's annoying as I needed it to navigate/download from GitHub. Hopefully, an update will be provided soon.
I can see a big difference in the latest build for me.
The newest build appears to use less than 400mb.
EDITED AND UPDATED
