Would anyone here object to my offer of a draft to our current Draft 2? @rockedge or @wizard (its is not a re-write, mere cosmetics)?

*Cough, cough...* No, no "objections" at all.....so long as you don't "push" SG2D or Ventoy too hard. (Remember, it doesn't work for everyone. I've tried it over a dozen times now, making all kinds of modifications as folks post about it working for them.....it point-blank refuses to function on this HP tower). No, don't 'rise to the bait' and post YET another long, complicated post on the subject, please, 'cos that's not what this thread's about.

Mike. :)

@mikewalsh, WHY on earth would you have posted that???

Is it your intent to personally decide what anyone should offer or not by decided what you want in your personal guidelines? Discussion of that was not the intent. The intent is readability for new users to Puppyland, and merely an update to the current draft. But YOU ARE THE MODERATOR WHO DECIDES!

To everyone, I remove myself from this discussion in my effort to help; because of this kind of behavior.

*gcmartin working himself up into a tizzy over nothing. Again.*

Clarity, Clarity; do you take everything anyone says to you as a personal attack?

I've said my piece, and apologise for dragging this thread "off-topic". Sorry wizard, rockedge, et al.

Let's hear it, Clarity, by all means.

Mike. ;)

ALL are using PCs that have DVD players...
Thus it will be several (maybe many) years before the community has PCs that do not have DVDs.

With the DVD in general, things are somehow strange. I would be glad and would like to use it more often... But I can't. The thing is that I changed the computer case to a new one, which simply does not provide for the possibility of installing a DVD. Five-inch compartments are missing as a class.

In a few days I have to decide what to buy. Blu-ray drive (which also writes and reads DVDs) or an additional hard drive. In the first case, I will have to put the Blu-ray not in the main, but in an additional computer.

Fossapup OS, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 64 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB, Sound Blaster Audigy Rx with amplifier + Yamaha speakers for loud sound, USB Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro V3 + headphones for quiet sound.

@Clarity Where is the draft proposal you mentioned? I posted sometime ago above, that I would like to see it. I still have not.

Also moderator is not an administrator and can't make or change forum structure. But I certainly can, so one would think I would be among the first to present your cosmetic changes too.

I am all for better "looks"...I'm a Gaffer dammit, not a graphic artist so I tend to go "simply and functional" which basically equals "ugly eye candy-less" and meets the deadlines.

In my anger, I had erased it back then. But will recreate. Its intent was a mere cosmetic to enhance what you along with the others have made. I will PM it to you so as not to alarm other(s).
