I am not fan of real tea. Of herbal stuff, the Bengal Spice is ok and I like tea made from fresh ginger. There was some xmas blend stuff from Bigelow, I got cheap at a scratch and dent store once (they bought odd lots of groceries cheap and resold them). It was ok, never figured exactly what was in it and never saw it again anywhere, assume it was some experimental blend and reason the scatch and dent store had loads of it was cause it wasnt selling. They had it for months and price as cheap as it gets.

Oh I like peppermint tea, the kind that tastes like real peppermint, not the generic/spearmint kind. Got so I would buy some peppermint extract and put few drops in glass water. Yea cheating, but its not bad. Way they are boosting price of better quality coffee, may eventually give up coffee drinking. The cheap stuff just isnt worth it, take a caffeine pill.... LOL Some guy saw me getting ginger root at Aldi and told me you could grow ginger here, it wont over winter, but it will grow. Maybe do that, do like ginger tea.

Oh want something different, believe it or not they used to advertise drinking Dr. Pepper soda pop HOT like tea or coffee. I actually saw the ad from 1950s, I tried it. Uh, not my thing. Definitely a reason it didnt catch on. Image

@April breath deep......feel better? This forum is among the few that allow inline images and we have one of the larger image limits.

Just size the images not greater than 600x480 pixels and use jpeg (.jpg)

  • max width = 600px

  • max height = 480px

From a Rox window, drag the jpg image to the post editor and drop it. Choose inline to insert to the cursor in the post editor.

Remember the important fact that storage = $$$ or €€€

Using an URL and the [img][/img] BBCode. I think the image can be a bit larger and since it's not stored on the site it's the lightest method. Drawback is the links usually eventually go bad.

OK . We've been here before but it is just darn frustrating and time consuming to say the least .
I have not had this problem on any other forum I visit !
So often I resize stuff for you and it comes out unreadable so its back and forth ,back and forth.

Using an URL and the [img][/img] BBCode.

I don't remember, but what tags from bbcode are currently working here to change the size of the image? I only remember that something was definitely not working.
Does any of this work?

Code: Select all

[img=200x60] [/img]
[img size=150] [/img]
[img width="200" height="60"] [/img]

Am I missing something on the resizing. Its pretty darn easy with mtpaint, just load image and use the scale canvas option, make it any scaled size you want. But if that is too much there are lot free image hosting sites that will resize image when you upload if you choose that.

EDIT: I did this with mtpaint, but the image hosting site I used offers to resize to whatever you want.

Image

Some hosting sites also offer thumbnail you post in forum and anybody wanting full size clicks on it.

And yea lot forums have software that autosizes any posted image so it doesnt overwhelm those viewing. Cause large pics on forums without that then cause people to have to navigate side to side through the whole thread to read it.

Example of thumbnail you click. It takes you to a page on hosting website to see the bigger image.
