That statement is wrong!

I tend to pray simple only making save files on the partition booting Puppy, but when I leave pmedia=cd or anything else, the loaded save is determined its presence in the Puppy directory and a number choice if there is more than one.

If you have a save sitting in your Puppy directory and it is not booted because of your pmedia= setting, I have not experienced that yet.

The media setting is determining PUPMODE.

Yes it has. And if others want to build on that then I am interested in trying.
