Re: usb wifi dongle not recognized - can not get fossapup online SOLVED
Now, now - this is a team thing. Being very left-brain, I need folk with better right-brains to interpret my output, which you did, and others do. High 5s all-round.

is the final workable .pet still available ? can no longer be downloaded.
@issac99289928 you might be able to ask @ozsouth directly if the driver PET is still available!
@issac99289928 - I've attempted to re-create the rtl8821cu driver. It loads & hopefully works. (Withdrawn - later post has working driver).
The above driver did not work for some. Version 2 is here (seems to work):
https://archive.org/download/Puppy_Linu ... 4k5453.pet
work well with rtl8821cu-v2-fossa64k5453.pet . thanks.
@issac99289928 - excellent! So now we have the right source, I can try it out on other Puppies. Unfortunately, that source says it's for kernels from 4.4 - 5.6, but I will try it with a 5.10 kernel to see if it compiles.
LATER: - With v2 source, I have compiled an rtl8811cu/8821cu driver for my 64bit kernel 5.10.153. It loads but I can't test it.
My kernel (with change-kernel instructions) is here: viewtopic.php?p=71627#p71627
The driver for that kernel is here: https://archive.org/download/Puppy_Linu ... 0153ao.pet
haven't tried changing kernel yet but installed the pet file on slacko64-8.2.1 . nothing shown on simple network setup and network wizard.
@issac99289928 - you MUST change the kernel & reboot for the 5.10.153 driver to work - drivers are kernel-specific. You need the 'slacko derivative' version for any slacko64 you use, or 'ubuntu derivative' for fossapup64.
