v1f with original 6.8.12 kernel still crashing my Tixati when I click on add button in Tixati to add magnet or torrent, adding magnet or torrent through the browser also crashing my Tixati. Can someone test and reply if it also crashing on your upup64 when adding magnet or torrent.
Simply unzip and copy the binary to /usr/bin

@Puppy - Tixati crashes in this pup. Segmentation fault. Loads 75 libs, but probably 1+ missing. In s15pup64, loads 70 libs, quite different list, but I was able to download BigBuckBunny 276mb (via magnet link) in tixati. Sadly, 3rd party stuff is hit & miss in any given Puppy. Transmission torrent client is included in most pups & works with bitorrents - BigBuckBunny does (via torrent link). I've attached the lists of dependent libs for comparison.

Free torrents for testing: https://webtorrent.io/free-torrents

Download stops at about 290 MB. Tried in several browsers and OS's.
What could be the reason?

@dellus - I downloaded the full 276mb B.B.B. short movie in Noblepup, via Transmission bitorrent. I can't see why yours was incomplete. Strange. (also ok in tixati in s15pup64).

In general: There is likely to be much more development on Noblepup64 in the next few months. (Not by me, I just repackaged the original with a big reduction in firmware).

Sorry,maybe a misunderstanding. I tried to download upup64n-24.09-low-1f.iso from mega.nz.

@dellus - oh. Folk were having trouble with Mediafire, so I switched to mega.nz. Maybe they're now throttling my downloads too. Free sites must have more limitations than they advertise. Not sure what to do, other than paying their subscription fees - pity they don't have pensioner rates.

Ha, it worked just now. I had a download left running in the background. When I looked at it again it was stalled at about 150 mb but I was offered a "Resume". I did so and this time it ran through to completion.
