I'm still running version CE-1.2
and in my opinion this is the fastest and slickest of all my operating systems.
Browsers open up fast. Email opens up fast. The look is incredibly clean, I like it better than Xfce, resolution is better somehow.
Very responsive system.

I agree with all of the above, at the moment it is my daily system, a very convenient system both in control and responsiveness
Collecting it has been my long-time goal.. Maybe, of course, this is not a super build compared to what is on the Internet, but I like it.Moreover, I can continue to create.

Hi @Sofiya,
tried your build script - needs "--no-check-certificate" to run ...
Code: Select all
ERROR: cannot verify gitlab.com's certificate, issued by ‘CN=Cloudflare Inc ECC CA-3,O=Cloudflare\\, Inc.,C=US’:
Unable to locally verify the issuer's authority.
To connect to gitlab.com insecurely, use `--no-check-certificate'.
So I updated the certificates on my jammypup32 and the script runs well.
peace

KLV-BspwmCE-1.4 Stable is one of the few distro's, as far as I can tell, that is equipped and runs with a full real time kernel.
And we have 2 RT kernels to choose from and we could always compile others
Just ran an assembly from scratch, made an SFS of the Firstrib_rootfs and added in the essentials and made an ISO that boots out of it.
Running on a QEMU machine smoothly with a clean boot.

The KLA-Bspwm inscription is always out of place in different screen resolutions, but there’s nothing you can do about it
my resolution is 1366x768

I see in the screenshot there is no system tray, and the “cuts” theme has definitely not been replaced. here is the file with the change
in /root/.config/polybar/cuts

@Sofiya I forgot to mention that I would have to go into the polybar theme configuration GUI and again select the cuts theme which would fix it after the first boot. I didn't do that before I made the screenshots, luckily because now there is a fix for it!
@Sofiya The cuts
polybar theme is not missing but I do have to go into the polybar theme switcher then select cuts
which will then display correctly. Plus I can't select something on the menu and click on it to execute it with the mouse. I can move the selection with the mouse but have to press enter on the keyboard to execute the selection. But some polybar themes will allow me to click on a menu selection and it will launch.
This is the version I built with the script. I will next test the ISO that I downloaded earlier.

Are you using grub2?
I normally use old grub with uuid for the drive location.

Please see the desktop. It is too small to locate icons like wifi, restart etc. I have changed font size of my documents etc. Print screen not possible . Hence mobile photo attached herwith
Some observations, the starting time for Firefox is more than that of other Puppy variants, EasyOs. etc. Is it possible to change desktop environment to other lighter desktop.
I change the menu Super + d .Maybe I'll adjust the color a little more .

New changes have been made to the database, I hope without errors, since I haven’t done the assembly yet to see if everything was added to the script correctly. Everything should be OK
Changed bspwmrc code script. Now applications such as (Terminal, Browser, Filemanager .....) will automatically open in their own window.
note:
if suddenly you don’t like this way of opening windows, then I’ll return the old script back.
added automatic selection of application window frame color.
added display of icons in the menu "rofi" super + d, and also changed the appearance of the menu.
Added transparency to pop-up notifications, also changed color and appearance.

in order to make PCManFM like this you need to open PCManFM - Super + a, then press Super + s then holding Super and holding the right mouse button we make the window to this state. After these steps, you can now launch PCManFM and by pressing Super + s the PCManFM window will become the size that you made earlier, press Super + t to return the desired size. Then if you press Super + s again the window will again be the size that you made.
such a window can be moved anywhere on the screen. with the mouse while holding down the Super key
Some applications immediately take the desired form after pressing Super + s
the same steps for any other application

topics have been loaded into the database. You can select a theme in "Rofi theme Selector" .Naturally, after you build a new assembly using the build script.
Search for your desired theme in "Rofi theme Selector" , press enter to preview, then Alt+a to accept the new theme.Enjoy your new Rofi theme!
There are 21 themes available. You can see their names in the image below. There are also default themes, but I don’t take them into account because they are ugly
