How to disable auto resolution for Via Eden chipset?

Post by emanresu »

I'm using a HP thin client with VIA Eden chipset to setup a kiosk with a TV. I know auto resolution (whatever is called) is a thing for ubuntu based distro but the problem is the signal is wrong (the TV just say no signal) after the resolution changed. Is it possible to disable it and leave default resolution?

I have another HP thin client which have Intel chipset, connected to same TV model, it didn't set the resolution automatically so no signal issues for it. I think the VIA Eden chipset is quite buggy with the driver. I used VGA to VGA cable.

Sorry for my bad english

What specific version of Puppy?

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

I use BionicPup32 8.0 32-bit because the machine is a 32-bit
