I've been playing a bit with this and the "Sharpen" feature under the "Effects" button works remarkably well in most instances. I'm just using the default setting (50) and get good results. Could do wonders for lower resolution images (like 480P) and can liven up your desktop image as well of it is a bit dull. Compare the first image (original) with the second (sharpen) below, look at the flowers in the foreground especially. Well, the image is lighter now but quite an improvement nevertheless
