Suddenly the Murga Linux forum disappeared! For this beginner - my main source of info was gone.
Now we have 'the forum' ver #2 but while the Murga forum was 'down' I went looking for other sources of info ...
I found .... The Puppy Linux Wikka. How could I miss that?
Lots of good things there ... but the info on some pages is plainly marked "may be out of date"
Example:
This (of course) raises some questions! Q1. How many people on the forum use the Puppy Linux Wikka?
Q2: If you have a question or need info about 'da Pup', do you expect to find the answer on the forum or in the Wikka?
Q3: Who maintains the pages? (My guess - the original author ... but that has some obvious problems).
Final comment: The Wikka has the answer to many questions that are asked on the forum - but to find that answer the Wikka must be searchable and the info in it must be current and accurate. How do we Puppians keep the Wikka useable?
Looking for comment and answers.
