Thank you both for the replies. I will get it done. Thanks again.

Note that in the case of FossaDog, you will use the Ubuntu section of the multi-installer.

I found a couple links about snaps on live booted ubuntu.
It's possible with some of them.
https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/how-to-ins ... -usbs/5413
These guys talk about it like it was fixed back in 2018.

I didn't read this whole thread, are snaps working in Puppy now?

I came across this anomaly.
I tried to create SVG icon using this script...

I got error that sodipodi wasn't defined, so I deleted line

FossaDog was excellent. BionicDog pretty good too. Because of their existence I never myself used Fossapup nor BionicPup, but I guess it is a matter of what you like in a distro when it comes to package manager support and utilities offered. Maybe BionicPup used a bit less RAM (?) so might have worked better on really old machines?? I suspect any such 'sweet spot' is pretty much now gone, and what we use comes down to habit and reluctance to adopt anything different even if just as small, efficient, and at least as functional. No harm in that of course except I feel these Dogs could have become much more popular if they had ever been made better known via the likes of Distrowatch - back when they came out I have to say they blew most alternatives out of the water (and I tried most everything back then, including Pups, and other distros large mainstream or small specialised). I used Puppy Linux from version 2.17 up to 4.31 and they really did provide for a certain class of machine that other distros of the time failed to cater for so well - not that they were perfect - I never liked that they were not multi-user, though realise that was a simplification to make their design easier to implement. But once the first DebianDogs appeared they brought the best of both worlds - small, efficient, frugal install flexible, sfs-loading, but also fully multi-user and pretty much perfect package management. I doubt those who adopted the DebianDogs ever went backi... just a joke @backi

You pretty much summed it up perfectly @wiak ......what else should i say ?
I have installed Bionic-Dog64 ,Fossa-Dog64 with Printer Drivers installed and Debian Dog64 Bookworm on a SSD......,perfectly configured for my Demands...They all just fly......light as a Feather.........Who could ask for more.
But I am still on Bionic-Dog64 as my daily Driver.......cause...it has an older Version of Enlightenment Desktop installed (E17)....a little bit less demanding (minimal) on my Processor than the newer Enlightenment Desktop Versions.(although it does not really matter at all ....nowadays.....better Hardware).
The "Dogs" are ,in my humble Opinion, the most outstanding Product on the "Linux Scene" ......hard to beat.

That`s absolutely correct....

Re: FossaDog (Ubuntu 20.04 'Focal Fossa' LTS) 64-bit (updated 2020-11-15)
Fred,
The situation illustrated in part in the attached image has long become no more than an accident of history.
I don't mean the situation regarding Toni still being featured as one of the role:owners of the DebianDog Organization on Github from 2013 or whenever it is I took my tiny part in DD history in opening that.
Rather, I refer to my clearly long-gone relevance and nonsense in my being included as an 'owner'.
More important, that history of opening the site resulted in my email address being recorded as the billing owner to pay any dues. Thank goodness there have been no fees, but can I kindly bow out now?
Why ask when I have all rights to change things you may ask, which I would do, but as I understand it someone else (you...) has to have their email address put down as responsible for the place (i.e. billing) before I can remove mine (at least that used to be the case).
Not a big deal - I don't interfere or have any part in anything DD-related, and in all these ten years I have not deleted anything and promise I wouldn't, but still... Do I need to be the one to make the change, or can you just do it???
Anyway, it was great, back then, except when it wasn't. The fame and the fortune. Well maybe not so great, but it was what it was. Both BionicDog and FossaDog (for me, Ubuntu user) were as good back then as anything is here today - maybe better. If only you had been interested in making a Jammy... but anyway, I survived too (as did Precord and wex, but xhippo certainly didn't - that much seems so long ago... Icewm? JWM? Rox? Nah, but all the openbox variants - remain perfectly superbo).

As you wish of course.
I've had a look and I guess that I can remove you from the organisation (will do if you say yes, or you do it) if that is exactly what you want.
But it's too long ago for me to remember what's exactly the construction, I see we are both owner (and Toni) but how to transform overall ownership (billing owner?), don't know yet.
Well DebianDog isn't really a project anymore (as being a 'distro'), but what I still like to do is maintain the mklive scripts and answer questions where I can, here on the forum.
My life has changed in the last couple of years, some health problems, and having other interests, so spending less time on Linux dev stuff.

Re: FossaDog (Ubuntu 20.04 'Focal Fossa' LTS) 64-bit (updated 2020-11-15)
My life changed a lot similarly, and despite not willing to age in my hopes and dreams, and fighting compounding health issues, I know I've forgotten tons of stuff re: Linux matters, and generally feel a little bit rusty about lots of things I found easier when I was working on them more regularly. Recent KL stuff I did, worked for me, but I considered that a minor miracle and only did it because I had a particular desire so pushed myself for a day or two... Simple maintenance of what exists I'm fine with, but some things were hard back when I worked on them and was familiar with various tutorials and techniques (that I can't be bothered reading again) and I wonder how I succeeded with certain bits of code, because I would hate to try re-inventing any of it now...
Yes, I don't want enrolled on any projects or git sites other than my own, especially not in owner type roles when I clearly have nothing to do with the work being done on them at all. So yes, please, kindly remove me from that if you can - if I need to do it myself let me know, thanks. Perhaps I need to substitute in your email address before Github will let me go - I have a feeling that was the way it was.

@wiak
It should be ok now, removed you from the DD organization and changed (in settings) the billing email address to mine.
You are fired !!
