Can't attach dot pet files. (Solved)

Post by OscarTalks »

Not sure if these are allowed by the system on this forum? I tried just now and it appeared that the file extension type .pet is not accepted for upload. I reported this same issue to BarryK on his new EasyOS forum and he has fixed it with some admin changes.
EDIT:- Now solved, Thanks!

Thank you for the tip. Please test attaching a .pet file, I made that administrative change.

Hi rockedge,
It still does not appear in the file chooser window that opens when I click the attach button (no .pet files appear).
If I try drag and drop it says:-
Error
Invalid file extension: gnome-mpv-0.16-x86_64-bionic.pet

BarryK had do do 2 steps I think, I know his forum is a different system but he said:-
"It works now. I had to set the mime type to application/octet-stream. That is what the host site server thinks PET packages are."

As a test here is both a 32 and 64 bit version of DOSBox compiled on Puppy Linux Bionic32 and Bionic64.
