Just another "day at the office..."

Image

This time, 32-bit Xenialpup 7.5 (rock-stable all by itself, and pretty much my fave 32-bitzer)......augmented by peebee's 64-bit compatibility SFS (along with FP64 9.5's k5.4.53 kernel), giving me access to modern, 64-bit, up-to-date browsers, and a number of my 64-bit portables (including Openshot & LosslessCut for media editing.....yay!!)

All the usual stuff is 'present & correct', including the 'InfoCenter', stage-right......in the shape of pWidgets & gKrellM.

*Yawn...*

Mike. :D

HI @geo_c: When you said that this system is brazing fast, can you please include some capture of how fast is it in an objective way ?

That is, can you include some capture of your CPU FIBONNACI or CPU BLOWFISH speed to consider if test it or not, please?

Thanks a lot for your help.

menu, system, hardinfo (CPU FIBONACCI, CPU BLOWFISH) ... Thanks in advance.

Well I'm leaving on two week trip in the morning, and so I can't get to it right away. Being that KLV-spectrwm is Void Linux, my processors appear to be scaled, as in this CPU is running at 800mhz when it can top out at something like 1600mhz.

So I would love to do this test, but I'll have to make sure I have tools installed, and that the CPU's are scaled or not scaled properly.

The speed I attribute to very little window manager overhead. Browsers appear to open and perform faster, etc.

But I will explore further at some point.

without FUSILLI it looks good when FUSILLI effects are enabled the transparency is very strange.
I don't see it in your screenshot. viewtopic.php?p=92245#p92245 What is the reason for this transparency?

I have no idea about the reason of this transparency.- I don't know where is the problem / I think with a simple RESTART X you can solve, if not, you can restart system and in last case take a look at banana.xml

Yes, the Russian language is rich and sometimes our expressions are difficult to understand. I consider your answer informative because you gave a tip to fix the problem. I'm shocked at how fast you work. Thank you ! :)

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
