That is also in 5.4.3, see 5.4.3 blog announcement:

Note, the default password is "woofwoof". After opening the database, it is recommended to change it.
Re: 5.4.5
Ok, can someone tell me in few words how can I use KeePassXC and Symphytum for? Is it useful for a average-human user or is it adavnced tool for programmer-super-human? I know there are database tool such as MS Access, but not never used them - is it something similar? Or just, how these apps can be useful for me? Or shall I just kick the green key out of my tray?!:P

KeepassXC (and the original Keepass) is a password manager as its name suggests. It has a long history and is supported on multiple platforms. I keep my master list on a Windows computer with well over 100 password/site pairs and copy that encrypted database to Android phones and tablets or Linux systems as needed. I keep passport, credit card numbers, PINs and phone numbers to call if I lose one of these in the database, too. A nice configurable, password creator is included.
Never liked the Idea of storing this information in the cloud. Figaro is probably similar to Keepass but won't read its database.
I always laugh when my brother searches though his desk drawer for right slip of paper where he wrote the password.

Re: 5.4.5
Hi @Jinx,
Error
Yes, Figaro reads its db.
Just, you need terminal and type this :
Code: Select all
fpm2 -f /path_to/passwords_database
There is also a password generator that you can configure.
Best to you.
Re: What's the new tray icon do in 5.4.5? (KeePassXC)
Maybe I was too hasty on going for KeePassXC, instead of FPM2.
FPM2 has now reached version 0.90:
https://als.regnet.cz/fpm2/about
Easy has version 0.79.
The great adavantage it has over KeePassXC is that FPM2 is tiny.
KeePassXC has some very bloated dependencies, such as 'botan', and I had to bring in the Qt libraries, which bumped up the size of easy.sfs by about 12MB.
FPM2 has much less features, but is that a bad thing?
FPM2 it seems has its own database format, which is a negative.
The KeePassXC database is used by many apps, including on phones, so is highly portable.
FPM2 can also reside in the tray, which is a plus point.

Hi @kriss777
fpm2 reads only its own database.
Bests regards

Awesome explanation guys! I think that's all I need to make my decission to switch it off in TRAY bar to get some more space for launched app's icons - thanks
I keep my passwords on my email's drive and they're kind of encrypted by myself, in a form of *** where I know what should be there, e.g. c*mp*ny. I don't think I need separate tool for it yet, however it sounds useful, because I keep my Easy-USB with me and it could be more handy to use. Maybe somethign for future.
Yes, I probably should, but you're very productive person (which I really appreciate using awesome Easy OS) and I might not have time to be up to date with all fruits of your work. I've got quite few posts on this forum and still learning new stuff about Easy as well as Linux stuff in general
