pEqualizer for newer Puppys

Post by amethyst »

If you have a Puppy newer than Bionic that has ALSA (Fossapup64 9.5, etc,?) this package may work (it does work for Fossapup64 9.5). I've extracted the package of pEqualizer for Bionic and adapted it to hopefully work correctly with newer versions of ALSA. Pet package attached.
General note when using pEqualizer: Start pEqualizer BEFORE you run your mediaplayer.

Are you really surprised, Flash?

EasyOS is one of Barry's special "experimental" series, therefore is always built with the very newest, cutting-edge, bang-up-to-date versions of everything. Little wonder a .pet built from Puppies a few years older won't work....

I think I would have been more surprised to hear that it had. (And then, of course, there's the "containers", AND all the permissions/ownership stuff....)

(*shrug*)

Wasn't aware EasyOS is a Puppy. Anyways, I put the package together for use with my Fossapup64 9.5 which does not have it builtin by default.

EasyOS is not a Puppy version.

It is a completely separate OS.

However, this forum does give support for it by providing an EasyOS section.
That section is for anything EasyOS.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
