does bluetooth work in fossapup64-9.5.1?

I have tried to use the JankyBT application.

Managed it to pair it with my Bluetooth speakers, whoever I never heard a sound.

Didn't try it with my headphones either.

I might have simply needed to return back to the soundcard wizard and select the Bluetooth speaker as the output device.

I get sound but with constant interruptions. I guess it is because the device emitting the bluetooth signal is an old model bluetooth V2.0 EDR Class 1

After some attempts I made it work
I've installed these packages from puppy package manager

bluez-tools
libopenobex2
obexpushd
gnome-bluetooth
libgnome-bluetooth

Then I created a file bluetooth in /root/Startup with the content

/usr/libexec/bluetooth/bluetoothd --compat &
/usr/libexec/bluetooth/obexd &
blueman-applet &
fi

After restarting X, you will see bluetooth icon in the notification tray

Thanks for sharing your tips.

I did try it out and it kind of worked for me. With JankyBT I managed to pair/trust the device already.

BTW .... could not find libopenobex2 in the PPM.

I believe I must need to change a setting in the Soundcard wizard/ALSA device settings to use "Bluetooth device" for it to playback correctly.
