Has this Puppy been updated since the official release? I'm thinking how peebee has updated his Bionic 32 version. I know Bionic reached EOL end April this year (I think)so should be nice to have all the updates until now.

Re: Bionic 64-bit updates
@amethyst :-
The 32-bit variants are all peebee's work, who is ferocious about keeping stuff up-to-date. The 64-bit 'buntu Pups were mostly all Phil B's work.....and Phil has dropped off the radar. And they perhaps got a few updates early in their life-cycle, and that was that.
I guess Phil took the same view as most Puppy users have for years; you want updates, you install a newer Puppy. That's how the system worked for many years; this business - like with peebee and dimkr - of keeping a Puppy updated while it's still 'current' is a fairly recent thing (and only with certain devs). It's the same with KLV 'Airedale', and wiak's recent Arch-based builds are rolling release anyway (so constantly updated).
So, no; with Bionicpup64, what ya see is what ya get, I'm afraid.
Mike.

Okay, so then I'll proceed with Bionic 32-bit.

Re: Bionic 64-bit updates
amethyst,
The major reason for updating is security while surfing the web. The foundation for that is openssl. Ubuntu has recently published two debs relating to openssl for its "Bionic64":
openssl_1.1.0g-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb at http://launchpadlibrarian.net/367327834 ... _amd64.deb
and
libssl1.1_1.1.1-1ubuntu2.1~18.04.22_amd64.deb at http://launchpadlibrarian.net/661850566 ... _amd64.deb
Especially considering how we both run our Puppys, you could install those debs and remaster. Bionicpup64 can run any current web-browser.
I downloaded or built 127 other applications that run under Bionicpup64, I think more than any other Puppy. Let me know of any application you may want.

Thanks, I'll install the 2 debs and then save the changes to the adrv.

Re: Bionic 64-bit updates
Bionicpup64 has a few updates provided by the Quickpet program.
Quickpet -> Info -> Bionicpup updates
Mainly bug fixes and a few improvements.
The update of Bionicpup64 is Puppy version Fossapup64 9.5
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

Re: Bionic 64-bit updates
Where is the download for it?
I think you are talking about Bionicpup32 8.0.
Bionicpup64 8.0 in the Puppy repository is released 2019-Mar-14.
