Re: Koffice sfs in later Puppies
Coincidentally, I discovered KOffice stored on my computer a couple days ago. It wouldn't run OOTB under current Puppies. I quickly discovered that it was missing a library. For the next hour I used listDD to examine its 30 +/- binaries for others. There weren't any others.darry19662018 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 10:02 am http://oldforum.puppylinux.com/puppy/vi ... b67de3c404

Attached is the library and a symbolic link to it using the name KOffice expects. It is a true zip. You'll need to decompress it and drop both files in /lib. K-Office includes an Office and a Graphics Suite packed into 48 Mbs,
Edit:
But it is 12 years old. I figure running it as an Appimage which only links to your system thru /tmp --a folder that is cleared at shutdown/reboot-- would be safer. So I used fredx181's create-portable . Available here, http://www.mediafire.com/file/7l2yzwcqs ... ffice/file

Re: Old Business Progs from Old Murga days
Here's a link to FreeOffice v. 697 before the days of WIN-10. Although 32-bit it will (naturally) run under 64-bit Pups. The caveat here is that its enUS only to avoid registration. Its very small, about 17Mb compressed. Spreadsheet, Word Processor and Presentations (slide-show). I've been using it for 3-4 years, and its been in my spins before the 'Atomic' era. Small is good.
