What version of Tahrpup? 32 or 64 bit?
What is the make and model of the printer?
What happens when you do this?

I was asking what the form of the url looks like if I connected the printer directly via USB cable to the computer (non LAN).
Normally that printer is network connected and accessed through an HP/laserjet print server and that server's CUPS url looks like this:
socket://10.0.0.15:9100
If I temporarily needed to eliminate the print server and connect the printer directly via usb cable to the usb port of the computer, what would the CUPS URL then look like?
is it something like
usb:// ?
