I don't use slacko, so I don't know if working with a portable can work, but you can try to download opera pet for slacko from ...

(When u did this is posible you can update or change to the last opera version)

@ eztuxer. A simple way would be to download Mike Walsh's latest Opera Portable, from here:

Place outside the (assumed) frugal install. Find the Launch script, click it - Voila!

Try my portable-version, from here:-
It ought to run straight off, since pretty well all necessary libs are included in the package. However, Slacko Puppies DO need more cossetting and TLC than most other Pups, so some "extras" may well be needed. @Marv would be the best person to help with this, as he has a lot of experience running Chromium-based browsers - of which Opera is one - under Slacko Pups.
