Mixing 32 & 64-bit 'stuff'

Post by cobaka »

Hello all (and woof!)
I want to install MuseScore on my PC. MuseScore is compiled as 64-bit code.
My CPU is 64-bit, but I'm running Friendly Puppy (or uPupBB32 sometimes). In other words, a 32-bit Puppy.

The "Q". Can I install/run MuseScore with this present config or must I install a 64-bit Puppy?

Thanks,

собака

From PupSysInfo:
My CPU is: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz, Socket Designation: Socket 1155
Current Speed of Core 0:1897 MHz, 1:1936 MHz, 2:1833 MHz, 3:1903 MHz
Core Count: 4, and 64-bit capable.

собака --> это Русский --> a dog
"c" -- say "s" - as in "see" or "scent" or "sob".

This may work for you to run 64bit software in a 32bit Puppy.

It has not been used much yet, so still finding out how well it will work in other Puppy versions.

You will need to carefully do what it says in this topic.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
