Which SD Card for running Puppies and Dogs?

Post by dancytron »

I want to get a couple of SD cards to run Puppy/Debian Dog on in Pupmode 13 (save on exit or when running save2flash).

They don't have to be huge. 32 gig would be fine, but with prices the way they are a few dollar more for 64 might be worth it.

There are a dizzying variety. What should I get?

I use 'SANDISK ULTRA MICRO SD SDXC 64GB UHS-I CARD CLASS 10' in a raspberry pi 4 running kodi and an odroid xu4 running my drives stack, never had one go bad and only upgraded from a 32gb as I was nearing capacity on kodi

last paid around £8

:)

Use any of them made by recognizable companies/brands.

Do not use ones that are branded by some name that is not recognizable and is really low cost.

There are some no name, really low cost SD cards, that are not what they may say they are.

They will take and miss inform about size, specs, and anything else, to get you thinking you are buying something very good, at some very low price.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
