How to upgrade gtkdialog to include libvte support?

Post by debianfan »

You need to install a version of gtkdialog compiled with libvte support. The executable can be gtkwialog, gtk3dialog, or gtkdialog.

My is a puppy of Debian 11. How to upgrade it?

Are you sure your gtkdialog doesn't support it? The libvte widget works in the gtkdialog from vanilla dpup 9.3 (it's based on Debian 11 I think.)

What program needs it? Does this example script work on your system?

This command should output libvte... => ... or something: ldd `type -p gtkdialog` | grep vte
Does it?
