How to build a custom devx.sfs?

Where could I find info on building a custom devx.sfs?
And/Or is it possible to mount a custum(more recent) gcc.sfs on top of stock devx.sfs?

Everything is updated in the Kirkstone series, including gcc.

The devx sfs can be opened up and more stuff put into it, then rebuilt. However, that is a non-trivial exercise and would require a lot of explanation.

I was working on "deb2sfs"

But it got put on the back-burner.

But in theory, it could be used to create a sfs, that you then choose to load along with the devx sfs.
So they are two layers, effectively merged, so no need to rebuild the devx sfs.

Actually, that 'deb2sfs' can work with any packages, not just debs.

`deb2sfs` and `dir2sfs` are the ways I’m currently trying, ty, I’ve had a couple failed attempts, but I’ll get there.

Is there a way to force-include devx.sfs when rebooting “locked in RAM”?
It gets specifically blacklisted, other custom sfs are recognized and mounted.

Currently using a devx.pet after boot.
