I have a lot of 32-bit Windows programs which all run with a relatively old Wine version (none of the programs are huge and sophisticated). I want to know which option will be best to run this in a 64-bit Puppy. The smaller the better. This is one of the things that puts me off using 64-bit Puppy at this stage.
Which Wine to run 32-bit Windows programs in a 64-bit Puppy?

WINE 5.11 AppImage (portablized by MikeWalsh) available from here, viewtopic.php?p=68191#p68191. While it takes up room on your hard-drive, when not in use it requires no RAM if you start it by file-browsing and clicking its WINE-link script, and only the RAM necessary to create a menu-entry and a couple symbolic links if you click the menuadd script,
No need to employ as a 32-bit Compatibility SFS. All the files needed to run either Windows 32 or 64 programs are within the included AppImage, external to your system; and only those needed are copied into RAM when needed.

I've had success running wine-stable_7.0.0.0-x86_64.AppImage on fossapup 64

300MB. Whoaaa... Really, guys aren't there anything much smaller, perhaps an old version. Definitely not going to use a utility that is bigger than my operating system. Perhaps the better option may be to run a 64-bit Puppy but to use a tiny distribution like Racy (mine is cut down to 56MB) for my 32-bit Wine needs.
Edit: Can someone extract this appimage and rebuild it as an sfs file (maximum xz compression) for download?

Go pick a version from here that you want to use.
viewtopic.php?t=103
Here you can get it as a pet package. Depending on the version it will be somewhere around 50 to 100 MB.
But in setting it up, first time run wineconfig.
There are going to be a few more programs Wine will need to install.
you do understand that Wine is almost a complete separate operating system.
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

Still need the compatible sfs to handle 32-bit applications. I've actually downloaded a 64-bit from github doesn't work (needs compatibility sfs, I suppose) which is another 100mb download? This APP should have everything, just need it in a compressed format.
