Make the taskbar disappear-appear

Post by Clarity »

Help

I cant remember where I indicate that the taskbar is to disappear when not in use and reappear when I drag the mouse to the top/bottom of the screen (@peebee's VoidPUP64 and his S15PUP64)

Memory of this old brain is fading.

Don't know about those pups particularly, but on new pups it would be Menu > Desktop > Desktop Settings > Taskbar. I think a visibility option must be present there in the placement tab (or some other tab, I also don't particularly remember. But I think the option was in the first 2 tabs)

@Clarity edit ~/.jwmrc-tray or ~/.jwm/jwmrc-tray1 (top) ~/.jwm/jwmrc-tray2 (bottom) and look for the line: <Tray autohide="off" insert="right" x="0" y="-1" width="0" height="24" layer="above" layout="horizontal" halign="left" valign="top" >

and change Tray autohide="on" , then save and on terminal jwm -restart & and see. if that doesn't work and the tray is on top, replace Tray autohide="top", save and restart.
