How to find out about running processes?

Post by Governor »

In windows I had the task manager and the process explorer app. I could examine running processes, see their process ID, where they originated from, the memory they used and so on.
How do I see these processes in Puppy, for example, how do I see where Firefox is running from?

Don't take life too seriously, you will never get out alive.

Hi there

You can type into terminal

htop

and that will give you a dialog box full of information.

It is also available in your SYSTEM submenu.
