How do I shut down an Underdog version of Puppy?

Post by DANgerd0g »

I have BionicPup 32 (Bionic Beaver) installed to my HP Netbook (boots up through UEFI), not booting from USB/disk (it's installed to my computer). Installed it using FrugalPup 20 (http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=114340)

While in BionicPup 32, I downloaded and ran BionicPup 64 in order to access a program that is only available in 64 bit. BionicPup 64 is running in "Underdog" mode inside of BionicPup 32.

Now every time I boot up my machine, after BionicPup 32 boots, BionicPup 64 boots up inside of Underdog mode.

Is there any way to shut down just BionicPup 64 (from Underdog mode) when I am not using it?

Or is there a way I can force 64 in Underdog to stop booting up every time I boot up my main OS (BP32)?

I'm having trouble pulling up any information on Underdog, so if there's some documentation you could throw at me, I'd be happy to read through it.

If I'm leaving out any pertinent info about my setup, just poke me. It's been a while since I've been on the forums....

Thank you for your help!

Holy cow, it was so simple!

Okay, so since I just figured it out, I'm updating this post in case anyone else runs across this problem....

Go to where you saved your SFS file in the File Manager (/initrd/mnt/dev_save/bionicpup64_8.0.sfs or where ever, that's just where I stuck mine)

click on the sfs file.

click "Uninstall SFS" button

Boom

To open it back up go and repeat process (except it will say "Install" instead of "Uninstall"

Cheers!
