Palemoon 28.14 crashes on MSN website
Hi folks!
This is just a heads up, there is a bug in the latest (9/29/2020) release of Palemoon, version 28.14,
it will crash on web sites that have dynamically refreshed content, such as MSN. If you have already
updated from 28.13, you need to open about:config, then search for layout.css.resizeobserver.enabled
Make sure this option is changed to "false". This will prevent the crash, though it does seem to
slow down rendering at MSN anyhow (from experience). Judging from the forums at Palemoon,
it affects both 32 bit and 64 bit, Windows as well as Linux, versions. Hold off updating if still on
28.13 (wish I had) until a bug fix point release is available.

Re: Palemoon 28.14 crashing
Just got update notice for version 28.14.1
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

Re: Palemoon 28.14 crashes on MSN website
WARNING!!!
Running in several different Puppy versions.
Running Fossapup64 9.5 to test.
Updated Pale Moon to v28.14.2
Running Pale Moon or just having it started.
Started having all kinds of freezing issues in general doing things in Puppy.
THERE SEEMS TO STILL BE ISSUES WITH PALE MOON!!!!!!
I deleted all of Pale Moon from the fossapupsave.
Reboot and Pale Moon is back to the original version that comes in Fossapup64 9.5
Palmoon 28.13.0
With this version of Pale Moon.
All is working normal!
Note:
Pale Moon says that these updates to 28.14.2 are suppose to fix these problems of freezing and crashing.

Re: Palemoon 28.14 crashes on MSN website
I updated Pale Moon 28.13.0 by going directly to the 28.14.2 update.
Seems that this is not having issues.
28.14.2 was suppose to be a quick fix for freezing and crashing in 28.14.1.
Maybe not ever getting the 28.14.1 works.
Using this setup now.
See how it goes!
