Fatdog64-813 how to Copy Paste from Windows in Virtualbox?

Post by pek »

Hi, can anyone please guide me how to configure Fatdog64-813 to be able to copy and paste between windows 10 host and virtual box client?
Or if someone has SFS ready, please share.
Hints: I have loaded devx and kernel SFSs and run InstallVirtualboxAddition.run
but copy paste does not work. However folder sharing works.
Thank you.

Do you have VirtualBox running properly otherwise?

On the guest window's menu, go to:

Devices
Shared Clipboard
Choose your option, I like Bi-Directional

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Yes it's set to bidirectional. I also tried host to guest, etc. But still doesn't work.
I'm using Virtualbox 7.0.2 r154219 (Qt5.15.2) by the way.
I don't know if it actually works in different Virtualbox versions though.

I had it working recently. Like others said, guest additions must be installed and the clipboard sharing activated. I'm not sure what the problem could be, but if there is a problem I suspect there is still a solution.

I use Virtualbox 6.1.34 in FatDog64 and the shared clipboard works without a hitch. Using the (almost) latest Virtualbox version might be the culprit... or at least it's not my cup of tea :?

Yes, congratulations indeed. I'm going to drink cup of Matte now!
Scotland has never won world cup and that is one miracle I am sure will never happen in my lifetime. However in UK home championship of 1966-1967 an 'unfancied' Scotland beat the (at that time) recent winners of the 1966 world cup, England, on their home Wembley turf. That's cos it was England. A bit embarrassing for them at the time it was...

Sorry, off-topic remark in answer. Couldn't resist.
