FatDog64: How to run HDMI display?
Hello,
on my Dell G3 17 there is an integrated graphics card which is an intel and a graphics card for an HDMI display. I can run one or the other but not both at the same time. it depends on the chosen driver
I know it works with Linux Mint.
But I haven't found a solution with X11.
Any idea if that's possible?
Regard

Re: LAPTOP: Two screen, two drivers
What specific Puppy version are you trying to use?
Are you saying this Dell computer has the Intel integrated graphics in the processor and also a separate Nvidia or ATI graphics card?
This is other info we may need:

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

Re: LAPTOP: Two screen, two drivers
This is a Fatdog64 issue not a Puppy issue.
Fatdog64 is another OS using this forum.
Post a topic in the Fatdog64 section about this issue.

I know, welcome to the confusion of providing support for other OS's, on a Puppy Linux forum.

Thanks rufwoof, your link made me try https://debiandog.github.io/doglinux/zz ... icdog.html and I'm very happy with this solution because I tried the Cinnamon version by ETP after a few adjustments both screens are functional
I would look at the other versions proposed in the link above, but this is very encouraging .
Great I find a puppy for my new Laptop.
Thank you!
