firefox bug perhaps with my xenaipup.?

Post by xenial »

Hello and greetings to all forum members.
I am noticing a huge surge in memory use whenever i exit facebook with ff81.It gets to the point where my entire operating system becomes totally frozen and nothing responds. It is only upon exiting facebook only that this occurs and i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too.?

I have a 2gb 32bit laptop a compaq presario if this information is of use.I cannot use palemoon browser with fb as it is totally unusable on that site.

I have to install a chromium based browser which is vivaldi and it does not suffer the strange memory surge which firefox was doing.I like using firefox and would prefer to use only one browser but this facebook issue is amking that totally untenable at the moment.

Just curious... when you wrote 'exit fb' did you mean logout, or did you just open a new webpage while still logged in?

Money talks... no, it shouts, so that it doesn't have to hear common sense.
