Unable to connect to any public WiFi access point from Puppy Linux(solved)

Post by jcmax101 »

I have an old 10" netbook dual booting between Windows 7 Starter and Puppy Linux (BionicPup32)

While at home, I have no problem connecting to and using WiFi from either Windows 7 Starter and Puppy Linux

For example, I boot to Windows 7 Starter and I'm able to see all the WiFi access points

I then boot to Puppy Linux and again I'm able to see all the WiFi access points

But if I go to any Public WiFi, althought I am able to see and connect to see and connect to a WiFi access point. If I then boot to Puppy Linux I can't even see the list of available WiFi access points (*the list is blank)

For example, I boot to Windows 7 Starter and I'm able to see all the WiFi access points

I then boot to Puppy Linux I can't even see the list of WiFi access points

Have you tried using any other application through the Network Wizard?
