Is anyone aware of a USB stick/drive analysis tool? Not just a speed test or a reliability test - but some sort of utility that is capable of analysing the structure of the contents of the drive.
For example: I have two sticks that I use for booting Windows PCs into Linux - one of them is booting perfectly but the other fails to boot some machines.
I wondered if there is a tool that looks at mbr, partition table, directory integrity, free space, boot flags, lba or non lba status, uuid, partition types, etc etc and produces a text and/or graphical output that might be used to spot errors or allow easy comparison of drives.
I can use gparted, gdmap and other methods to get some of this info but hoped to find a comprehensive utility designed to "look" but "don't touch" and produce readable output.
