Here at once about dogs and about equipment and about military operations.

There is a Museum of Military Equipment on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow.
The monument is called "Dedicated to the frontline Dog" aka "Frontline Dog".

I argued for a long time with my good friend (yes, we almost got into a fight ourselves ) about what kind of dog is depicted on the monument. He says that this is a kamikaze dog, which during the Second World War ran up to the tank with explosives on its back and blew it up. Well, what a kamikaze, I objected, if the dog is wearing a cape with a cross... this is a dog of the military medical service, which pulls the wounded from the battlefield and brings medicines.
