i remember my old thread down at murga had some links i found helpful as a noob as part of the first post, but this is the one i found myself going back to most recently (it's also one of the few i can remember). i think the original poster/author went by jpeps or similar. if said creator doesn't return to make a new post to verify or deny, thing can make swap files on all ext and ntfs partitions it has access to (haven't used solely ntfs to verify it's using that swap file and not just acknowledging its existence).
