Upupff+D kernel 3.18.22non-pae
I have just made a stripped down version of upupff+D by Peebee with an older non-pae kernel 3.18.22 for those wanting a modern pup with a non-pae kernel here: https://archive.org/details/upuffdstrip ... 22no-paev1
Took out mediaplayers, calculators, stripped rightdown even cups taken out and ffmpeg so connects to internet, and boots to desktop, just add what you want.
Running from it now.
If you have a cutdown barebones style re-master then feel free to post in this thread.

Re: Barebones Pups to run static apps
I have ScPup running with a non-PAE compile of a much newer kernel.darry19662018 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 2:33 am Upupff+D kernel 3.18.22non-pae

It is a 5.xx.xx version (from memory.)
Maybe the same sort of "stripped down" of that is something you should consider.
I can offer you the compiled kernel if you are interested.

Yes I would be interested - thanks. I do find though that series 3 works better on my machine.
More important to use what works best than go with the latest and greatest. However I am interested in building an SCpup with your kernel. More kernels here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/huge_kernels/
