Nautilus - File Manager

Post by SilverR02 »

Hello! I would like someone to help with the file manager. Turns out, the ROX isn't to my liking and I wanted the Nautilus. However, I only get sources and I am completely ignorant in this area. Somebody help me? I occupy 32 bits of the BionicPup

Nautilus is going to need a great deal of added dependency stuff to even try to get it working.

See if Pcmanfm will give you what you are looking for.
Try this one:

or this one:

Rox kind of grows on you, when you use it as two different Rox windows, open at one time.
One showing location you are at.
The other location you want to move, copy, etc... too.
Just drag and drop from one Rox window to the other.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.

This is not what I expected :o

I personally would not recommend using 2 file managers side by side as it can create a mess if you decide to remove one of them.I would create a savefile copy with just roxfiler and then restore if the new file manager is not to your liking.
