change the kernel in Lick's puppy folder?

Post by Lassar »

I know that vmlinuz can be copied to the Lick folder.

But what about kernel-modules.sfs?

Do you just copy it to the Lick folder?

If Lick is putting all the Puppy files in a single folder.

Whatever the Puppy version is.
Boot it to working desktop.

Follow this info:

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

On my Levono lick's grub resolution was about 1920x1080.

Bionicpup64 ran at 1920x1080.

Okay Tried huge-5.7.8-ubun64oz.tar.bz2, and still no luck.

I tell you, that it's lick's problem in not being able to change
the resolution from 800x600 to 1920x1080.

Would do bionicpup64 with the kernel drivers, that
fossalpup64 uses, but my computer fan keeps running,
indicating the the cpu is getting a bit hot.

So what do I do now?
