Palemoon search dropdown black after update. (Solved)

Post by peppyy »

I remember this happening several years ago, and now when it happens again I can't remember how I fixed it last time :? I think it had something to do with gtk or jwm.

What Pale Moon version?

Working OK for me in version 29.4.2.1 (64bit)
Fossapup64 9.5 fully updated.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

@peppyy

Did you change the theme of Palemoon? If so, try to revert to the original.

@bigpup same one 29.4.2.1 (64bit)
It just started with the update the day before that one.

@BologneChe I haven't changed any themes or added anything in palemoon for months. I see it does the same thing on login screens where there are more than one login.

I have already had this type of problem with Palemoon and Firefox. But I had made changes in the color preferences in the browsers.
