I have the following:
Computer: HP 17-CP0336NG
Puppy Linux: fossapup64
Chromium: 83.0
Firefox: 94.0
Chrome: 95.0
I previously had an issue with Chromium not discovering my microphone. I thought by downgrading my Chromium, which was at 97 (at the time), that I had fixed the issue. Well, now it is not working again. I thought the issue might be related to my internal mic. I bought a USB mic, and that did not solve the problem. Looking further into the issue, I discovered that, perhaps, the problem was due to my sound card. I bought a USB sound card. It works fine, but did not solve my issue. I've tried other browsers: Firefox, and Chrome, to be specific. None of them are able to find my microphone. I'm not sure where to go next, and am hoping someone from the community can help.
