I noted that Easy OS 2.4.1 doesn't see my microphone. Though bionicpup64 does. Other than that, every thing works good.

EasyOS-2.4.1 comes with front and rear microphone 'muted' by default. You have to use the 'm'-key to activate it.

OK I will check it out. I do have a intel HD audio from the motherboard.

the inoperable microphone is a USB interface from the Microsoft VX-2000 webcam that I use.

AH-HA! Motherboard mic and mic via webcam. They each need instructions of how? I am curious on how to do this in EASY

Just now looking at that on my system. Yes, go to the menu "Multimedia -> Audio -> AlsaMixer audio mixer" and I see the "mic" levels are all at "0 < > 0". So, bump them up and you should be good to go. Thanks Feodorf.
