Thanks @rockedge a very nice addition, I much prefer viewing the Murga Forum in the retro style. It looks great, nice job. Your contribution to this community is greatly appreciated.

@rockedge I too prefer to view the Murga Forum in the retro style and IMO this should be the default. To avoid confusion there should be a clear visual difference between the old and the new forum.

+1
I am with MochiMoppel on this
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

I have made the subsilver2 Retro style the default theme. I agree fully there should be an instant recognition as to which forum one is looking at.

@rockedge
Have just logged into oldforum.puppylinux with my old user name and password. I also changed to the Retro theme as I think it's more in keeping with the old forum and it helps distinguish the new from the old. I can only imagine how much time and effort you've put into getting to this point and I'd also like to thank you for what you have done.
Regards,
Ken.

I'd ask to adjust the new forum style to look more like old good murga-linux... make white or transparent those abit heavy top blue banner, adjust the blue color for border lines... sorry )

@takenp maybe some day. Too many other technical things need to be finished before I mess with the complexity and multitude of the CSS files that go along with phpBB.
Sure it's do-able but why not just track down a style that someone already did all the hard work on?
Re: Retro Style Theme for oldforum.puppylinux Avialable
Hello againy!
Every time I drop into the new forum I recall how convenient the old was. May be it's time to adjust the style abit or change the current theme?
There is https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styl ... e/demo/3.2
Please, take a look at: Breeze, Flat style, Pro_Ubuntu_Lucid (must be customized), ProLight, prosilver_special_edition.
I am sorry )

Re: Retro Style Theme for oldforum.puppylinux Avialable
I have overly-sensitive eyes after many years working in the minerals processing industry. Basically, I can't stand bright light for too long at a time.
While I appreciate the desire to immediately differentiate betwixt old & new, I'm using the 'ne-blackgreen' option (the same as I'm using here in the new forum). I asked rockedge if he would be good enough to implement this in the old forum a while back.....and he graciously acceded to my request. (Thanks again, Erik.)
This wouldn't have been hard to do, since he already had the template set-up for this one.....especially given that both fora are now running the same version of phpBB.
(*shrug*)
Mike.

Re: Retro Style Theme for oldforum.puppylinux Avialable
I can add a Flat style as an option. Remember one can select a theme in the user control panel to use if the default Pro Silver style isn't doing the trick!
I am going to try out flat-style_1.0.10 on a testing platform and if all goes as planned have it here for a choice later on.
