I have moved (copied) xenial 64 from one PC to another. The goal is to have the same system on the new as the old.
Xenial boots fine from the new location but doesn't see the save folder (not file) even though the new menu points to the same location.
It's like the 'new' xenial looks for a save file, not a save folder.
What am I missing? How can I get it to see the folder?

Cloned Xenial doesn't see Save folder (Solved)
Re: Move Xenial
I figured it out. I converted it to a file from a folder.
I booted xenial, created a safe file, a large one ('cause I knew the folder was a few gigs).
I then booted something else on it (another puppy, Bionicpup).
I opened the new xenial save file (mounted it). I deleted those contents.
I copied the old folder contents into that save file.
Closed that window.
Double clicked and closed the 'new' save file, now tih new contents.
Then I rebooted the system with the new save file with the old folder contents. It worked great!

Re: Cloned Xenial doesn't see Save folder (Solved)
I ran into that myself years ago. There’s a file, *edited* - named fsckme.flg, but it directs Puppy to the location of your save. That file doesn’t move or copy from one partition to another for some reason. I ended up booting into a new save, closing out of it, reboot to ram and then editing the new file with the name of my old save.
HP G71 Wins10 64 bit, 2.2ghz 320gb hdd, Bionicpup64 on a WD 500gb portable HDD.
