The 'mention' function of the Forum!

That's hardly surprising, TBH! We never had it with the old forum.

Whether it's a new function of the current-generation phpBB forum software, or whether it's because rockedge has "added" it as a plug-in, I don't know. The fact remains, we've only had the ability to "mention" other members for something less than the last year.....

Remember; JM (rest his soul) was something of an "absentee" landlord, due to having other, more important interests occupying him for most of the time. We only ever really heard anything from him if there was something major due to occur with the forum.

Enjoy the new functions! I certainly do. In all honesty, it was something of a miracle that the old forum software continued to function as long as it did.....it was years out-of-date when we eventually got this nice, shiny NEW forum to play with.
