A modular Laptop PC - Will it catch on?

Post by Clarity »

This is an interesting step. It has been discussed (and attempted) for years on several platforms; namely desktops, Laptops, phones, IOTs, etc.

Looking forward to whether this impacts the market.

Not a bad idea for all the computer geeks!

The computer version of Ikea furniture.

Only laptop, I ever wanted to dig into the inside, was a Chromebook, I turned into a Puppy laptop.
Had to remove the internal, write protect screw, to totally replace the bios firmware.

Oh, color coding the screws, is so it is easy to know, you are using the correct one, for the location.
Size, material, and length matters in a laptop.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

Real innovation, hope they sell a ton of them and succeed. As someone who has repaired lots of laptops, it would be a pleasure to work on one of those.
