does puppylinux come with bootloader?

Hi, im new here, im just gonna ask some question, Does puppylinux come with bootloader?,
Does my spec is enough for install puppy linux?,
Can i install puppy with windows?
Can i run old windows games on puppy?

Here is my spec:
Intel atom n330 @1.6Ghz (x86 & x64)
2gb ram (ddr2)
Sis mirage 3 (@256mb)
320gb hdd
Bios (mbr)

Here games list i want to run:
Cs 1.6
Openttd
Openrct
Openblok
PvZ
Terraria
& more low spec games

I ever install other linux os with windows but it run slow on my laptop, soo im trying to install another os but most of em got blackscreen (android os), Im currently stuck with grub2 bootloader & cant run any os (my bad)

You have a dual core CPU with 4 threads and enough RAM to run Puppy well.
If you want to run Windows games then you run them with a programme called Wine https://www.winehq.org/ Some Puppies will have it in the repository. You need to try it and learn how to use Wine. Generally, games under Wine run well if they run.
Puppy has its own bootloader and it will add an entry for Windows.
I suggest that you load Puppy on a USB stick and run it from there to explore what it can do without upsetting your current installation.

What version of Windows is it?
Can the computer boot from a USB drive?
If the computer has a CD/DVD drive.
Burning a Puppy version iso image on a CD and booting with that, would be easiest way to try Puppy.

Yes i have windows on my laptop, its windows 7 & windows xp (i want move from this os)
My laptop can boot from usb & cd
Im install iso files using rufus, its really easy

I like win xp but its outdated & i ever had virus because this os, so im wanna move & fix my grub2 bootloader

not only try Puppy, but install it when you decide which one.

the CD will have a tool to make the install and a new bootloader.

some puppies are better for wine than others.

You still may need it to run those games.

Put a version of Puppy on a USB or CD and boot using it.
Try a few Puppy versions to see what you like.
They are all slightly different.

The easy way to install Puppy Linux to internal drive, and keep Windows, is to use this program:

You will need to install Wine to run Windows programs in Puppy.
It does a good job, but will not run all Windows programs 100%.
That Wine web site link will have a database of how different programs will run.
Look up the ones you want to run in Puppy.

yes, you can always delete windows later, after you find a puppy to put on your HD that does everything you need.

pls, put me out of my misery and post exact instructions of running /windows/lick.exe via wine. thx.

You run lick.exe in a running Windows OS, that is already installed on the computer.

Boot the computer with Windows.

Download the lick.exe file in Windows.
Left click on it to run it.

It is a exe file that runs in Windows and installs Puppy, to the internal drive, alongside Windows.
Makes a duel boot system.
Makes a boot menu, that provides selection, to boot Puppy or Windows.
