How to add Windows to Fatdog64 boot manager? (Solved)

Post by hungnguyengia »

I installed Fatdog64 to an ext4 partition using the free space after shrink the Windows partition and the boot manager to the disk's MBR. Now Fatdog64 boot fine but I don't see any entry to boot Windows. Other Linux would automatically add Windows entry to their boot manager. How could I boot Windows now? Thanks.

Hi. This is how I do it. Add these to syslinux.cfg:

label windows
menu label Boot Windows
com32 chain.c32
append hd0 1

You have to copy /usr/share/syslinux/chain.c32 into /boot, too.

Hi

3 questions :
1. Windows version?
2. What is the partition layout on HDD/SSD?
3. Can you quote boot manager's config file?

Have a nice day
Adam
