Read & Heed, PLEASE! (Contribute to the forum)

Please pardon me for bringing this up again, however, IMHO, I think WE ALL who make use of this forum, should "reach down" and contribute whatever
you can. Remember, Rockedge is paying for the upkeep out of his pocket, and it shouldn't hurt most of us to "kick-in a few", a few times a year! I'm
reasonably sure he'd appreciate it.

This is EXACTLY one of the reasons why I shared the idea of "Puppy in a USB".
At least, we don't have to be reminded constantly like Windows update does.

"Donations" will never make it.

Read his "Donations" section on the near bottom:

sonny-This is a case for,"To each his own". Rockedge has has devoted way more time than you'd imagine to getting this forum running, and he NEVER, EVER, requested any
donations, or even thanks. I know that I, and very likely, many others, requested him to place that "Donations" link(in the "Quick links") button. I'm guessing you have no
idea what the cost is to have this forum on the 'net. If you don't care to donate, that's fine. Also, please be aware that there is NO LIST of donors, or non-donors. Each and
every user, and/or visitor to this forum, can make up his/her own mind as to donate! And yes, I read your link.

Dunno what brought you here. My post had nothing to do with Rock whatsoever.

Please keep in mind that each of us here is A VOLUNTEER who does voluntary stuff (coding, testing, tutoring, sharing info, etc etc). Nobody asks and tells anybody to do anything. That's freedom, ain't it tosim?

"Donation system can be guilt-inducing for users who choose not to donate. Please continue to feel free to use Rufus without any guilt about not contributing for it financially – you should never have to."

You said that you read Pete's statement on "Donations", but did you get it?

At the end of the day, anyone who has willingness to give will do whatever it takes to get it done. They can ask (privately) etc etc etc.

Oh, in case you ain't still getting it ...

DONATION IS AND WILL NEVER BE SUSTAINABLE. AT LEAST NOT IN THIS OPEN SOURCE KINGDOM.

If you don't wanna ask for donations ever again, please make an effort that's more realistic and sustainable. Asking for donations is not "that effort".
And never again speak for Rock and for others. It's bad for everybody and worse for you!

Google once said: "Don't be evil."
Lemme say here at the kennels, "Don't be hypocrite."

In case you're not aware of: Ask peebee if he still remembers "a cup of coffee" I bought for him quietly. Ask Rock if he still cares to answer my PM asking for his Zelle cuz I no longer have PayPal. I never wanted to write any of these here until you forced me to. Force is a breach of freedom!
